I was concerned about the heat, since the highs had been in the 40C range. Fortunately, Travis suggested that the corridor would be cool, and it was (except for noon, when we went for a bathroom break). We also had a break for re-provisioning at suppertime, since we drank all our water. It takes a while to drive through the 13 mile scenic loop to get to town. Superb climbing!
