~6mi, 3000'. MP and I went to Giant Mountain in the Adirondacks. Due to a late start and going to Lake Placid (which is not the trailhead), we didn't manage to get to the summit before our turnaround time. Crampons helped. Started at 11:30, returned to car at 18:00. Had an extra trip up to retrieve a dropped snowshoe. Ran into a family of 8.
